Cami de Cavalls , thanks to Lazlo
by Dale

The invitation was from 31st March to the 9th April. Some went sooner, some came back on the 8th and some stayed longer. Some walked the whole Cami of 115 miles, some missed days and did other things ( I was on the trail for 6 days and walked 90 miles and 20 around and about Mahon ) I loved it all !! We had mixed weather but mostly, very good walking weather. The views were stunning, the walking was perfect (although a bit brutal underfoot at times), the sea swims were exhilarating, the food was gorgeous and far too much ( but I managed it all 😂) a lovely hotel too.
We have Dougy to thank for all of this !!!. His inspiration for the walk and the invitation, the choice of hotel and bus company, organisation of all the finances and all that goes along with changes and arrangements to the definite list, travel and covid requirements etc before the trip. No easy thing doing this, so I for one am very grateful.

Thank you for your kind words Dale. The swims in the hotel pool were quite exhilarating enough for me. Leopard seals, penguins and walruses like cold water.😊
Absolutely brilliant, enjoyed this trip so much, the company, scenery, swims,food.. organised by Dougy, captain chaos at times 😂 thanks so much Dougy from us northern ladies.. 10/10. 🙂
Big thanks from us too Doug. The hotel was great, good location and who doesn't love free food and drink! Transport worked well and we really enjoyed the Menorcan cami. Great coastline, beautiful coves and the odd cold swim in the sea! Tough walking at times but worth it. Many thanks for organising😀👍x
Lazlo Woodbine: will you be repeating this trip next year Doug ?
